Distribution

Turns one product profile and its existing videos into branded clips, thumbnails, platform-specific copy and scheduled social posts.

The problem

Founders, indie hackers, and small SaaS teams struggle to consistently turn one product launch or piece of source content into high-quality marketing assets across multiple channels. The process is fragmented across video editing tools, AI tools, caption generators, thumbnail tools, copywriting tools, and social publishing platforms, requiring significant manual work and technical effort. This makes it difficult to produce branded promo videos, short-form clips, thumbnails, platform-specific copy, and scheduled social posts efficiently and consistently.

How it works

Distribution is an automated content creation and publishing platform built around a single Product Profile. Users provide their product information, brand assets, audience, features, and brand preferences once, and the system uses that context across the entire content pipeline.

It can ingest source videos, transcribe and analyze them, identify promising moments, generate branded short-form clips with captions and titles, create thumbnails and platform-specific copy, and publish or schedule content through Postiz. It also includes a promo-video pipeline that can analyze reference videos, generate creative direction and storyboards, and render branded promo films in multiple formats.

The platform uses a Next.js web app, a Node/TypeScript worker architecture, PostgreSQL-backed jobs, reusable media-processing pipelines, AI providers, FFmpeg, Python media sidecars, and Remotion for promo rendering. The goal is to turn a product and its existing content into a complete distribution workflow with substantially less manual editing and publishing effort.
