How the record works.
This site is a public record of what people in India are doing with Claude. A record is only worth keeping if it says where each fact came from and what happens when one turns out to be wrong. That is this page.
What this is
An independent community record.
Where people across India meet, learn, experiment and build with Claude.
It is run by volunteers, it is free, and everything on it comes from the community it documents. Who organises what is set out in who runs what.
What it is not
- An Anthropic property, programme, or endorsement.
- A way to become a Claude Community Ambassador — that is Anthropic’s programme, and it is linked below.
- A chapter directory. No city here can be claimed, started, or bought.
- A startup funnel. Nothing on this site is for sale and there is no pitch behind it.
Verification
What has to be true before something appears.
Every kind of record has one test it has to pass. They are deliberately narrow, and they are the reason several archives on this site are still empty.

Events
A real date, a real venue and a host we can name.
An event is an Ambassador-led Claude Community event only when its host resolves to a published Ambassador record. There is no flag for it. Everything else is community activity and is labelled as such.

Ambassadors
A record of how the status was confirmed.
Ambassador status is granted by Anthropic and never by this site. Every entry carries how it was verified — if we cannot say how we know, there is no entry.

Builders
A submission, then a human review.
Anyone building with Claude in India can submit an entry, and being in the index confers nothing. Submissions start unpublished and a person moves them, so nothing self-publishes.

Projects
A named maker and something we can look at.
The archive stays empty rather than filling with things nobody can check. A project needs a person behind it, a city, and how Claude was actually used.

Use cases and guides
A named author with a reason they would know.
Nothing in the knowledge library is written by the site. Every entry carries a byline and a credential, and a guide carries the date it was last checked.
Numbers
Counted, or reported.
Counted
Every figure on this site that is not explicitly attributed is counted from the record itself — 11 events held, 14 cities plotted, 2 people in the index. Add a record and the number moves. There is no headline figure anyone can type.
Reported
Community-reported figures — attendance, prototypes shipped — are kept out of those counts entirely and always render with the source they came from. They are somebody's account of their own event, and they are labelled as exactly that.
Cities
A dot is not a chapter.
A city's state is derived from verified records, never authored. All 14 cities on the atlas are in one of four states, and no city is ever presented as available to claim.

- Event activity Events have happened here. No Ambassador is currently assigned.
- Community interest People here have registered interest. Nothing is scheduled yet.
- Discovery No verified community activity here yet.
Corrections
If something here is wrong.
Tell us and it gets fixed. This is a record about real people, so being correctable matters more than being complete.
Send a correction on Telegram- 01 Tell us what is wrong and, where you can, how you know. A link, a photograph or a name is enough.
- 02 Anything factual that cannot be checked comes down while it is being checked, rather than staying up with a note on it.
- 03 A record that turns out to be wrong is corrected or removed. It is not quietly edited into something else.
- 04 Anyone listed here can ask to have their entry changed or taken down, and it comes down.
Stewardship
Who keeps this.
Volunteers, working with the communities that run the rooms. Organisations are named with what they actually do; nobody is listed as a maintainer who has not asked to be.
