How it works
Our solution, Bhumi Vikas Sahayak, is an intelligent, bilingual web application built for the Bhopal Municipal Corporation ecosystem to simplify and automate access to the MP Bhumi Vikas Rules, 2012. Powered by a FastAPI backend and a vibrant React (Vite) frontend with Tailwind CSS, the platform lets users query complex building bylaws—such as plot setbacks, height restrictions, and parking norms—in plain English or Hindi. It provides instant direct answers, deterministic parameter calculations, and strict legal source citations with direct links to official consolidated PDFs and amendments, ensuring complete transparency and compliance for citizens and architects.

"We utilized Claude and Claude Code extensively throughout the development lifecycle of Bhumi Vikas Sahayak. Claude assisted in architecting the dual-folder full-stack structure (FastAPI backend and React Vite frontend) and helped resolve complex Tailwind CSS configuration challenges.
