After visarjan, idol immersion can leave ghats facing increased pressure on water quality due to materials entering the water. However, authorities often struggle to interpret scattered water-quality reports, identify the most concerning ghats, and prioritize post-immersion interventions. GhatSeva addresses this gap by organizing historical water-quality data into actionable insights for better monitoring and response planning.
How it works
GhatSeva is a water-quality decision-support dashboard for Bhopal’s visarjan ghats. It analyzes historical water-quality data through ghat rankings, visualizations, and evidence tables, helping authorities identify priority locations and plan post-immersion interventions through action plans, draft work orders, and administrative briefs.
How Claude was used
We used Claude to plan and develop GhatSeva’s frontend, build reusable components and interactive dashboards, structure placeholder data, create bilingual pages, and debug code. We also used it to validate the interface against the PRD and ensure data limitations and provenance remain transparent.
