Takes a small-business owner with no marketing experience from a content strategy to captions, a posting calendar and performance tracking.
The problem: small business owners with zero marketing or social media experience don't know how to run their own social media marketing — they're confused about where to start, how to analyze competitors, how to write captions, what content to post, or how to track performance.
Who experiences it: small business owners like the cafe owner example you gave (Darvon) — someone running a local business (cafe, in tier-2/3 Indian cities like Bhopal or Indore) who wants to manage their own Instagram/Facebook marketing but has no strategy, no idea what to post, and no way to learn or improve without hiring outside help.
Marketing Co-Pilot — a web app that takes a beginner business owner from "I don't know where to start" to a working, self-sustaining marketing routine.
Core functionality:
Onboarding: owner enters business name, category, target audience, location Content Pillar Engine: generates a tailored content strategy (4-6 themes to post around) Content Idea + Format Generator: turns pillars into full post briefs — format, visual concept, caption, hashtags Competitor Snapshot: shows what similar local businesses are doing and where the gaps are Content Calendar: organizes everything into a postable weekly/monthly schedule Performance Tracker: connects their Instagram/Facebook to show what's actually working, feeding insights back into future suggestions Voice/Video-to-Post: lets them just talk about their day and get a ready post out of it Marketing School: bite-sized lessons woven into each feature so they learn the "why" while doing the work
How it solves the problem: it replaces the missing strategy, skill, and confidence all at once — instead of a beginner staring at a blank posting screen, the app gives them a plan (pillars), the execution (ideas, captions, visuals), the context (competitors, trends), and the feedback loop (performance data) — while the School layer means they're not just dependent on the tool forever, they actually build the skill over time.
