The problem
Bhopal's idol immersion ghats lack an easy way to analyze historical water-quality data and identify areas needing attention. We built GHATPULSE MP, an evidence-based decision-support platform that analyzes 2023–2025 water-quality records from seven ghats, highlights historical concerns and data gaps, ranks locations for further inspection, and generates actionable reports to help authorities make informed decisions.
How it works
GHATPULSE MP transforms historical water-quality records into actionable decisions for Bhopal Municipal Corporation. By analyzing 2023–2025 data from 7 immersion ghats, it identifies water-quality concerns, ranks locations requiring attention, and provides traceable evidence for every finding. With interactive dashboards, data-gap detection, and bilingual action reports, it helps officials prioritize inspections, plan targeted water testing, and reduce time spent manually reviewing reports—enabling faster, more transparent, evidence-based environmental decisions.
How Claude was used
We used Claude Code to accelerate development, build interactive dashboards, implement water-quality analysis and ranking algorithms, and generate bilingual reports. It also helped us debug, test, and refine the platform, allowing us to focus on delivering a practical, evidence-driven solution.
