The problem

This makes it difficult for authorities to compare pollution levels, identify high-risk locations, and decide where cleaning, aeration, and additional water testing are needed. Visarjan Ghat Watch is a data-driven decision-support tool that transforms these reports into an easy-to-understand dashboard. It compares water-quality readings against CPCB standards, ranks Bhopal's ghats by pollution concerns, displays locations on an interactive map, and provides evidence-backed explanations with references to the original reports. It also generates concise Hindi and English action briefs to help officials prioritize interventions before Visarjan, enabling faster, more informed decisions using existing data.

The platform also explains the reasons behind each ranking, provides references to the original reports for verification, and clearly identifies missing data instead of treating it as clean.
